summertime fun!

Wow...where has the year gone by? Is it really Aug 1st? Crazy to think that Austin will be starting preschool in just a week! He is so excited to attend! All his teachers there are so amazing, and I can't wait for the school year to begin for him!

A few weeks ago, we had a play date at the park with a few friends! It was an ice cream sundae playdate! The boys LOVED it!

I think we only stayed about 45 minutes, it was EXTREMELY hot this day and it was only 9:30 in the morning!

We hope to visit the park a few more times, and make a few more visits to the library before school starts up....We love summer!

Cookie Memories

While on my weekly grocery trip to save mart I stumbled upon these cute little cookies, I knew the boys would love to help bake these! My little Xander went to stay with tita this night (yes, the boys would literally live at their tita's house if they could) so Austin and I decided to bake a little sweet treat before bed!

Valentines Day Crafts

It's hard for me to sit and do a craft with the boys. Xander gets really excited and usually ends up making messing everywhere. So I had some scraps of paper, sweet stickers and decided to let them go at it and cut and paste whatever they wanted on their card stock hearts that I bought on clearance like 2 years ago. Here are some pictures of their sweet little projects! Hope you enjoy them!

Both of the masterpieces! They gave their "presents" to daddy who was in the other room! Something that I will keep and treasure forever! How I love my little men, they ARE the light of my life!

Library Fun!

My sweet Austin has been asking to go to the "liberry" for a couple of weeks now. He told me he wanted to get books about rockets and planes, he is totally 100% boy! So Friday afternoon we headed downtown to the library! What sweet fun we had! He was so excited the whole way there! He really couldn't believe we were actually going to the library!

He waited very patiently in line as we waited to make it official!

And now we were on the hunt for books about rockets and planes!

We read and looked at all the pretty pictures together!

It was a great way to spend a Friday afternoon with the sweet little boy who loves me unconditionally :)

We came home and daddy read with the boys :)

We brought home 12 books on rockets and planes :)
